Marion Anderson was the only Australian among an international team of scientists that chose where Opportunity, one of NASA’s Mars rovers, was to land

 

Marion works in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment at Monash University as a Lecturer and first year coordinator. Marion’s research areas of interest are the mineralogy and geomorphology of Mars and early evolution of life.
